Privacy Policy
PouchLess is designed to keep the sensitive details of your quit journey on your device. We do not create an account, ask for your name or email address, sell personal information, or use advertising trackers.
Data stored only on your device
Your profile inputs, quit and taper dates, streak, savings inputs, slips, craving outcomes, notification choices, and coach history are stored locally on your device. They remain there until you use “Clear local data,” delete the app, or the operating system removes app storage. PouchLess has no account backup and cannot recover this data.
When data leaves your device
Subscriptions
If you view, purchase, or restore a subscription, Apple processes payment and RevenueCat processes subscription status. They may receive purchase history, app and device identifiers, country, and diagnostic data needed to operate subscriptions. PouchLess does not receive your full payment-card details.
Coach
Coach replies in this version are generated deterministically on your device. Coach messages and your pouch-use profile are not transmitted for coaching.
Product analytics
This version does not configure off-device product analytics. PouchLess does not use advertising trackers, session replay, or touch autocapture.
Crash diagnostics
This version does not configure a third-party crash-reporting endpoint. Apple may provide system crash and performance information under your device and App Store analytics choices.
Notifications and sharing
Reminder scheduling occurs through the operating system on your device. Share cards leave the app only when you choose a destination in the system share sheet; that destination’s privacy policy then applies.
Children
PouchLess is not for people under 18 and does not knowingly collect their information. The app asks users to confirm they are at least 18 before entering pouch-use information.
Your choices
- Use coach and the free tools without sending quit content to us.
- Decline notifications in the app or iOS Settings.
- Clear local data from Settings at any time.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple Account settings.
Service providers and international processing
Apple and RevenueCat process subscription data under their own terms and retention controls, potentially in the United States or other countries. We configure subscription processing to minimize collection for the purposes described above. If a future version adds an online coach, product analytics, or third-party crash reporting, this policy and the in-app disclosures will be updated before that data is transmitted.
Contact and changes
Use the support page for privacy requests. Because PouchLess has no accounts, include only the app version and a non-sensitive description. We may update this policy when features or providers change and will revise the effective date.
